Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese therapy whereby fine sterile disposable needles are inserted along meridians or energy channels which correspond with every organ in the body. By inserting the needles the energy flow is stimulated thereby eliminating toxins and bringing balance back into the body.

Most treatments last for about 45 minutes and can be effective in a wide range of disorders including sinusitis, constipation, back pain, frozen shoulder, insomnia, migraine and menstrual disorders, etc. In addition to physical and mental problems, acupuncture is also commonly used for people who want to lose weight or need help in giving up smoking.

Alison Larkin is an experienced therapist in this ancient system of medicine and has been practising acupuncture since 1989.
